And the question continues!!! if these two guys had been enemies... who would win?!
yeah this one was harder to do than the others i've done because of all the dark color's on dark colors going on... but i did my best and hopefully you all will like it!
Thanks again freckle for drawing these for me!!
Lineart:
Color: Me
I do not own Erik or Sweeney... otherwise they would have had happier lives... I wish i could draw them but Hey at least i can color them ^_^

I have to give into fangirlism and say Erik. The Lover of Trapdoors is a genius. Sweeney is magnificent, don't get me wrong, but he's a barber. Erik was as assassin in Persia.
But that's going by the book [literally...] and not ALW's movie... thing... [Gerry <3, but as Erik... sorry, must pass. Michael will always be my ALW Phantom]
lol i like both gerry and Michael as phantom they are both pretty much equal in my books because of the different mediums used (film vs. stage) Tho i was dissappointed about the deformity in the movie... it just looks like a bad sunburn... i wanted like... well... something more similar to the stage version. lol
And yay! another person who knows about the Persian assassin bit. Many of my friends who like phantom havent read the books and only watched the movie... so i try to explain things and they try to argue he never killed before the opera ... just have to shake my head at them and go back to my doodling lol

I was, sadly, brought into the phan-girl lifestyle [we need a magazine...] by the movie. Which I loved, not knowing that much about musical theatre at the time and how *technically* Gerry couldn't sing. I do remember the Wishbone episode though... also remember rooting for Raoul. o_o
But yes, I watched the movie and then bought the soundtrack to the original performance, then received the books for my birthday. So I went a little backwards, but I got to Leroux in the end.
The movie deformity... yeah, that was sunburn, basically. And grey hair. Meh compared to the stage and nothing compared to the book. You'd think with the way makeup artists were supposed to be awesome they'd have done a better job. Like how Lon Chaney managed in 1925.
exactly. lol and it's not how you start the phandom. it's where they ended... they started at movie and ended at movie and nothing more... so if it wasn't in the movie for them... it didn't happen to Erik at all that's what makes me go O.o at them lol.
and ... OMG i loved that wishbone episode!!! lol it was technically my first introduction to the phantom lol granted i didn't realize what great fangirlish lifestyle it would throw me into later in life but *shrugs* it was a great episode lol. (tho i remember rooting for phantom!wishbone the entire time too lol even back then as a kid i didn't like Raoul )

Writing is like prostitution. First you do it for love, and then for a few close friends, and finally for money.

"Be excellent to each other, and party on, dudes!"
Sweeney Todd, Phantom of the Opera, and Twilight are my obsessions. It's advisable not to test a razor weilding opera vampire.

Just grin and bare it. Cause somewhere out there, someone has it way worse than me.
